Fighting for Climate Justice

Climate justice means putting people and planet before profit. As Ireland’s only full member of the European Parliament’s Environment Committee, Lynn Boylan is committed to fighting climate breakdown by holding big polluters accountable, ensuring a just transition for workers, and protecting the most vulnerable communities from environmental destruction.

“A livable future is a right – not a privilege.”

People-Centred Climate Action

Lynn Boylan believes that climate action must be fair, fast, and inclusive. Her work focuses on:

A just transition for workers and communities affected by the shift away from fossil fuels and polluting industries
Strong EU legislation to tackle corporate greenwashing and environmental destruction
Public investment in sustainable housing, transport, and renewable energy
Climate justice on a global level – ensuring that the Global South is supported, not exploited

She regularly challenges the EU’s failures to take meaningful action and highlights the voices of those most affected by climate inaction
