A Tireless Advocate for Fairness and a Sustainable Future
Lynn Boylan is a Sinn Féin MEP proudly representing Dublin in the European Parliament. With a background in environmental conservation and community activism, Lynn has long championed climate justice, international solidarity, and fairness in trade.
Originally from Tallaght, she holds a master’s degree in climate change. She’s worked in Killarney National Park, Ballymun’s Global Action Plan, and served as Chair of the Safefood advisory board.
Elected as an MEP in 2014 and again in 2024, Lynn has been a strong voice for the people of Dublin, whether securing European Parliament’s endorsement to recognise water as a human right or speaking out on Gaza. She also served as a Senator from 2020 to 2024 on the Agricultural Panel where she pushed for improved welfare for dogs and championed the cause of the stardust 48 taking the case to the European Court of Human Rights, despite opposition from the government.
Lynn is known for her hands-on approach, door-to-door campaigning, and genuine connection with grassroots communities. Based in Clondalkin with her partner Eoin Ó Broin TD and her two lurchers Fionn and Cuan, she continues to fight for a fairer, greener, and more equal Europe.
