Accessibility Statement
Scope
This statement pertains to the digital content available on www.lynnboylan.ie
Commitment to Accessibility
Lynn Boylan is dedicated to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including individuals with disabilities. The goal is to provide an inclusive online experience that aligns with the principles of the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), as implemented in Ireland through S.I. No. 636/2023.
Compliance Status
Our website endeavors to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, as referenced in the harmonized European Standard EN 301 549 v3.2.1. We are actively working towards full compliance and regularly assess our digital content for accessibility. On the date above the Lynn Boylan (https://lynnboylan.ie/) website is considered to be overall compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA levels.
Known Accessibility Limitations
We acknowledge the following areas where our website may not fully meet accessibility standards:
- Colour contrasts – some elements may fail contrast checks such as white text on the green backgrounds. The green that is used throughout the website is the chosen brand colour and as such is required for us to use on the website – to overcome this an accessibility widget is included that gives the user control over colour & contrast levels which in practice would address the contrast concern for any users.
- Third-party code – in particular this is referencing the cookie consent/management platform used on the website. The code/structure of the consent popup is rendered dynamically via a plugin/script meaning we have no control over the exact code that is rendered and as such we cannot vouch for compliance of this specific code or rectify any issues with it.
We are committed to addressing these issues and enhancing the accessibility of our website.
